Vulnerability Management
Continuous scanning and prioritized patching that closes security gaps before attackers exploit them. Our Vulnerability Management continuously scans your devices, servers, network equipment and internet-facing systems for missing patches, misconfigurations and known weaknesses. We prioritize findings by real-world risk, coordinate remediation and track progress, so you fix what matters most first instead of chasing endless lists.
New software vulnerabilities are published constantly, and attackers move quickly to exploit them, especially in internet-facing systems like firewalls, VPNs and remote access tools. Most organizations know they should patch but struggle to see what is missing, which issues matter and whether fixes were actually applied. Our Vulnerability Management provides that visibility and follow-through as an ongoing program rather than an occasional scan.
We scan internal and external systems on a regular schedule using authenticated techniques that see more than a simple network probe. Findings are prioritized using severity, whether exploitation is happening in the wild, such as vulnerabilities listed in the CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalogue, and how exposed and important the affected system is. That approach focuses effort where risk is real, rather than treating thousands of findings as equally urgent.
Remediation is coordinated with whoever manages the systems, whether that is HSM IT Services managed IT, your internal team or a software vendor. Where a patch is not available or cannot be applied quickly, we recommend compensating controls. Trend reporting shows how exposure changes over time, supporting the continuous vulnerability management safeguards in CIS Controls v8.1, insurer questionnaires and audit evidence for ISO/IEC 27001:2022 or SOC 2.

How it works
Discover
We identify assets on your network and internet-facing systems to establish what needs scanning.
Scan
We run regular authenticated and external scans to find missing patches and weaknesses.
Prioritize
We rank findings by exploitability, exposure and business impact, and share a clear action list.
Verify
We confirm fixes through rescanning and report progress over time.
Who it is for
Vulnerability Management suits organizations that want ongoing assurance their systems are patched, those with internal IT teams who need better visibility and prioritization, and businesses whose insurers, clients or auditors require regular scanning. It is especially valuable for organizations with internet-facing systems, a mix of older and newer equipment, or software that is difficult to patch quickly.
Questions we hear
How is this different from a penetration test?
Vulnerability management is continuous and broad, scanning your environment regularly to catch missing patches and known weaknesses as they appear. A penetration test is a deeper, point-in-time exercise in which testers try to exploit weaknesses and show real impact. Most organizations benefit from both, with ongoing scanning supporting good hygiene between tests.
Will scanning slow down our network or systems?
Scans are configured to minimize impact and can be scheduled outside business hours. Authenticated scanning is generally lighter than aggressive network probing because it reads information from systems directly. For sensitive equipment, such as medical devices or industrial controllers, we adjust or exclude scanning in consultation with you and the vendor.
What if a vulnerability cannot be patched?
Some systems cannot be patched quickly because a vendor has not released a fix or the software would stop working. In those cases, we recommend compensating controls, such as isolating the system on its own network segment, restricting access or adding monitoring, and we document the decision so leadership understands and accepts the remaining risk.
